Although I do not, by any sense of the term, consider myself a “birder”, when you're in places such as Belize or kayaking in a calm beautiful lagoon in Mexico (zoekayaktours@gmail.com -- great tour, if you're in Ixtapa), the birds shove their beauty in your face and you can not help but to be awed. Here are few examples of the beauty and wonderment birds add to the world:
Roseate Spoonbill
Great Egret
Anhinga
Collared Aracari
Northern JacanaRoseate Spoonbill
Great Egret
Anhinga
Collared Aracari
Chicken
Immature Great Blue Heron
Red-lored Parrot
Black-necked Stilt
Willet
OMG!!! That CHICKEN was extraordinary!! I've never seen anything like it!!! Are they indigenous to Belize??
ReplyDeleteKidding...seeing him in the midst of all those other beautiful birds was pretty funny, tho.
Don't know much about bird species, but I really, really love them. Especially my parakeet babies...
Hope you're having a blast and enjoying the warm weather...better stay for a while.
